Bob Marley was born February 6 1945 and died May 11, 1981. He was the best known Jamaican singer in history. He was a rhythm guitarist and lead singer for ska, rocksteady and reggae band Bob Marley and the Wailers.
Bob Marley was credited with helping to spread both Jamaican Music and the Rastafari Movement to a global audience.
Some of his best hits include "I shot the sheriff", No Woman, No Cry", Could you Be Loved", "Stir It Up", "Jamming" and "Buffalo Soldier". After his death The compilation album Legend was the best selling album in Reggae history. Marley's Legend Album went (Diamond) in the U.S , selling more then 25 million copies worldwide.

He is the oldest son of Bob Marley. He is married to Orly Marley, who is a former vice-president of William Morris Agency. Bob Marley's last words before he passed away were to Ziggy advising him "Money can't Buy Life". Ziggy Marley is as much a pioneer of his time similar to his father.
